WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a strong candidate to support BCG´s Global Specialty Businesses to elaborate first class solutions within People & Organization Practice (POP) as well as Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) projects. In this role, you will assist the POP as well as TMT analysts and experts in a variety of strategic research topics and internal improvement initiatives. You will also learn how we approach problems of our clients in order to help them perform better than before and strengthen their market position. The role provides also the chance to gain initial experience in German and international POP and TMT cases at one of the globally leading management consultancies.

You can work up to 20 hours/week during your semesters and up to 40 hours/week during your vacation time. The role offers enough flexibility to combine personal, academic and professional life. This is a temporary role from min. 12 – max. 24 months. You need to be an enrolled university student in Germany.

YOU’RE GOOD AT

  • Assisting the Knowledge Team in a variety of strategic research topics for German and international POP and TMT clients
  • Supporting internal projects (incl. research, preparation of analyses, online surveys etc.)
  • Collecting BCG case materials from international cases to capture know-how
  • Administrative activities like newsletter process support, database maintenance and filing of documents

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

 

  • Ongoing bachelor's or master's studies with high academic achievements – preferably in business administration, economics, or social sciences or other relevant subjects
  • First practical experience through internships or working student positions advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and learning agility
  • Capable to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • Creative, yet structured problem solver
  • Strong interpersonal credibility, reliability, and service mentality
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
